9th Aldridge (St Thomas’) Brownie Pack – Report 2012

The brownies enjoy craft evenings and being able to chat with their friends. We have tried ceramic painting, making Christmas decorations out of clay and painting to name but a few. The girls really love evenings when there is something to eat!

We work towards brownie badges and our activities will take on an Olympic twist over the next few months.

We have just come back from our first pack holiday. We went to Beaudesert Campsite and had a great time enjoying the outdoors. We did crafts, lots of outdoor activities including a climbing wall and of course a campfire. Even the rain and mud didn’t put us off the assault course! It was great to be with the girls in such a beautiful place and really get to know them.

Unfortunately we have had to reduce our brownie numbers to 18 due to lack of leaders. Katie has had to step down due to ill health and Leanne has moved to London with her new job.

If you like the sound of brownies and are willing to give a couple of hours on a Monday evening please contact me.

Thank you.
